Ebenezer Akakpo, originally from Ghana and now based in the United States, is a passionate jewelry artist. His journey in jewelry-making took him to Le Arti Orafe in Florence, Italy, where he honed his skills in stone-setting and design. There, he discovered computer-aided design and manufacturing, which he saw as a transformative tool for the jewelry industry. After moving to the U.S., Akakpo pursued a degree in Metalsmithing and Jewelry at the Maine College of Art & Design in Portland, Maine, followed by Industrial Design studies at the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York. In 2017, he founded Akakpo Design Group LLC in Maine.
