Freeman is president of Freeman Companies, a Hartford-based land development, engineering design and environmental services firm founded in 2009 that has collaborated on high-profile projects including the $26 million, 126-unit “Park & Main” mixed-use development and the $14 million redevelopment of Dillon Stadium.

Freeman Companies specializes in land surveying, civil engineering, hydraulic/hydrologic engineering, geotechnical engineering, landscape architecture, environmental sciences, hazardous materials services, transportation and traffic/safety engineering, contractor support services, and owner's representation for projects in the governmental, educational, commercial, industrial, institutional and infrastructure markets. Current work ranges from geotechnical engineering and land surveying services on the $ 250 million South Hartford Storage and Conveyance Tunnel for MDC to utility coordination and owner's representation with EVERSOURCE's Utility Replacement Program and landscape architecture and project management for Upper Albany Main St., Inc. and University of Hartford's Commercial Facade Improvements Program.
